Nancy Grace, the Hogwarts Professor, and Me!

Three Books

What an exciting week I had!

On April 23, Nancy Grace talked about Summer’s Winter at the end of her HLN show and recommended it!

On April 29, John Granger, also known as the HogwartsProfessor and author of several books about Harry Potter, interviewed me about Summer’s Winter. He read it and loved it, and more than that, he got it!

I can’t tell you what a thrill this was. It’s almost like I’m Jeanine (Summer’s Winter character) and was just invited to come participate in my favorite fandom—the way she was through Jamie and Charlie. Most of you know what a huge Harry Potter fan I am. I started reading John Granger’s work even before I finished the whole Harry Potter series and admire him greatly, and I can’t believe my book was featured by the same blog that talks regularly about J.K. Rowling, Twilight, and Divergent!

Professor Granger was also kind enough to provide me a blurb about Summer’s Winter:

Robin Johns Grant’s Summer’s Winter is the most inventive take on fan fiction I can imagine — because it’s a romance-thriller about fandoms, especially if not explicitly the Harry Potter fandom, and explores the important intersection of literature, spirituality, and imagination. Delightful!

Thank you, Professor! You’ve made my year!

Ipad Mini Giveaway to Celebrate College Launch of Summer’s Winter

iPad Mini 16 GB, Wi-FI
Grand Prize!!

Enter the giveaway here!

During the month of April, I’m all about reaching college students and other new adults to tell them about Summer’s Winter. After all, it’s about a college student (Jeanine) in middle Georgia.

Summer’s Winter is a love story/suspense about a middle Georgia college student and her obsession for a movie star—who may or may not be involved in murder.

But you’ve got to do something pretty outstanding to get college students’ attention, right?

That’s why I’ve set up a Rafflecopter giveaway of an iPad Mini!

Between now and April 21, you can enter for a chance to win a 16GB, Wi-FI iPad Mini by following me on Facebook, Tweeting about the book, and several other options.

And guess what–you don’t have to be a college student to enter! So check it out!

Have fun, and good luck!
